Ex-PwC partner banned from financial services for eight years

Australian regulator ASIC has banned former PwC Australia partner Peter-John Collins, of Sandringham, Victoria, from providing financial services or controlling an entity that carries on a financial services business for eight years.  In a statement on 20 October, the regulator said Collins was an authorised representative of Australian financial services licensee PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities Limited from 1 March 2004 to 14 July 2006, and again from 9 December 2013 to 6 October 2022.   ASIC found that Collins disclosed confidential information he obtained in his roles as a tax ad...
