German asset manager takes majority stake in Italian solar and wind developer

Independent investment and asset manager KGAL has acquired a majority stake in Italian solar and wind developer for impact fund KGAL ESPF 5. The established developer controls what it describes as an "excellent pipeline with a total capacity of more than 300 megawatts".  Together with its Italian partner, KGAL said it will complete the pipeline projects and operate these as an independent power producer (IPP).
