Switzerland makes unprecedented move over Russia sanctions

Switzerland's Federal Council took the unprecedented decision on 28 February to adopt the packages of sanctions imposed by the EU on 23 and 25 February, in response to Russia's continuing military intervention in Ukraine. In a statement it said the assets of the individuals and companies listed were frozen with immediate effect.
