EX-Allianz employee who fled halfway across the world gets fraud sentence

A former employee of Allianz SE has been sentenced for stealing over £67,000 from the insurer through bogus claims and fleeing to the US to avoid prosecution, City of London Police said. Rasheed Talabi pleaded guilty to fraud by abuse of position in May, City of London Police said in a statement on 11 August.
