Citi names new global private head in raft of wealth management changes

Citi has named Ida Liu as its global head of private banking as it unveiled the senior team for its recently formed global wealth management business. Liu, who was previously Citi's head of the private bank in North America, will oversee the part of the unit that caters to more than a quarter of the world's billionaires and other ultra-high-net-worth clients, according to a memo seen by Bloomberg to staff signed by Jim O'Donnell, head of the firm's global wealth division.
