MainStreet Partners appoints investment director

MainStreet Partners has bolstered its investment team with the appointment of Fabio Dossena as investment director.

Dossena will be responsible for further developing the firm's investment advisory service and consolidating the existing relationships with the Italian and global clientele, composed by private banks, financial consultancy networks, insurers, family offices and institutional players.

MainStreet Partners, co-founded by Rodolfo Fracassi and Andrea Carati in Italy in 2008, is a leading sustainable investments adviser that oversees over €700m of assets. It opened an office in London in 2011.

Last year, the company became investment adviser to Banca Generali to evaluate the level of sustainability, alignment to SDGs and social/environmental results of all the ESG funds available on the bank's platform for distribution and portfolio construction. In addition to this service, MainStreet advises the banks' ESG discretionary portfolios which are implemented via sustainable funds and securities and aligned with the SDGs.

The company's new investment director joins from London-based financial intermediary Trinity Investment Partners, where he was senior client officer. Before, he worked at Milan-based manager Adenium SGR, as an investment analyst and fund manager. Previous roles include portfolio manager at Gnosis Finance, and fund selector and analyst, held at AXA Sim, where Dossena started his career.

Rodolfo Fracassi, co-founder and managing director of MainStreet Partners, said: "2019 was a successful year for MainStreet Partners, during which we increased assets under administration by 45% and saw the rating service on third party funds grow considerably, building together with our partners innovative projects to bring sustainable investments to the center of the business.

"The entry of a professional with the skills and experience of Dossena will allow us to continue with this path."
