Private bank M.M. Warburg & CO has expanded its corporate finance activities with the appointment of Stephan Gellrich as head of Corporate Finance Munich since the beginning of the year.
In this role, Gellrich oversees corporate buy and sell mandates, particularly in the context of corporate succession, spin-offs and the sale of companies in special and transition situations.
Gellrich brings extensive experience in investment banking from Merrill Lynch and HSBC, among others, and will particularly drive the M&A/corporate finance activities of Warburg Bank in southern Germany. He moved to Warburg from an international auditing and consulting firm. There he had built up the mid-cap M&A business.
