Fiera Capital has established a new European headquarters in London's Mayfair district, which also brings together its various UK subsidiaries and operations, including Fiera Real Estate UK, Fiera Capital UK and Fiera Infrastructure, in the same building.

The $124bn manager acquired an 80% interest in Palmer Capital Partners in March 2019, since rebranded Fiera Real Estate UK. This was the first acquisition of a property busiess outside Canada, where the Montreal based business originates.

The new London office initially holds some 85 staff, but with capacity for more. The manager currently runs equity, hedge fund, infrastructure, agriculture, property and private debt strategies.

Vincent Duhamel, global president and COO, Fiera Capital, said: "Over the last three years, Fiera Capital has made a significant investment in the UK to create the foundation for the future growth of our business outside of our historic bases of Canada and the US. This reflects our long-term commitment to the UK and broader European markets. Bringing together all of our UK based operations under one roof to create our new European headquarters in London, pools a vast wealth of expertise and knowledge and marks a key milestone in our global growth ambitions. We now have an excellent platform from which we can offer our investors an increasingly compelling and diverse range of strategies."
