Canaccord Genuity WM
Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management in the UK & Europe has promoted Andy Finch to CEO of the CGWM International division, effective from 1 April 2020. The role comprises oversight of the CGWM businesses in Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Jersey. 

With over 35 years' experience in the wealth management industry, Finch joined CGWM UK & Europe in 2002. He has undertaken a number of leadership roles within the business, most recently as managing director, CGWM UK & Europe Funds, which have seen annualised asset growth of 24% per annum over the past five years. Finch is also a director of CGIF Plc, an Irish UCITS umbrella fund and a member of the International division's Executive Committee. He will continue in these roles.

Mercer 
Mercer has announced the appointment of Dan Melley as UK Commercial Leader of Investment Solutions. In his role, Melley will be responsible for bespoke investment solutions for clients, developing commercial relationships, and overseeing the execution of the investment solutions strategy, distribution and growth. 

Melley has over 22 years' experience in institutional asset management and commercial sales, including 17 years at Mercer. He started his career with Mercer in New York in 1997 before transferring to London in 2000. During this time, he led the launch and development of Mercer's UK Investment Solutions business from inception to a c$20bn AUM business. 

Momentum 
Momentum Pensions Group has appointed Susan Brooks as managing director of its International Businesses incorporating Malta, Gibraltar and its Isle of Man operations. Brooks brings a wealth of technical and operational experience to the new role, having demonstrated excellent capabilities and leadership skills as the Group's head of Administration and Investments during the previous five years.

In addition to her new role, Brooks recently completed her Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification with the Irish Tax Institute. The qualification is the gold standard in tax and is recognised as the international hallmark of excellence in tax advice worldwide.

Carey Olsen
Carey Olsen has appointed commercial litigator Jeremy Lightfoot as a partner in its Hong Kong office.

Lightfoot, who specialises in litigation, insolvency and restructuring under the laws of the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands, will lead Carey Olsen's capabilities in these spheres in Hong Kong. He joins from the Hong Kong office of another offshore law firm and is the third partner appointment for Carey Olsen in Hong Kong since June 2019.

IQ-EQ
IQ-EQ, the global investor services group, is expanding its Luxembourg senior team with the appointment of senior director Bram Eijsbouts as its new head of Business Development. 

An experienced commercial director with a demonstrated international track record of 17+ years in the financial and corporate services sector, Eijsbouts has held a number of strategically important commercial roles, each of which arm him with the necessary skills and experience to lead this commercial strategy.

Willis Owen
Willis Owen, the leading online investment provider, has announced the appointment of Alex Rees as head of Digital to spearhead its work on enhancing the digital experience for its customers.

Rees joins from BNP Paribas, where he was Online Marketing Manager responsible for growing a core insurance brand and generating digital customer acquisitions. He will be responsible for building out Willis Owen's digital proposition as part of the company's wider development.

Henderson European
Henderson European Focus Trust has appointed Tom O'Hara as co-manager of the portfolio, alongside John Bennett.

O'Hara, who joined Janus Henderson in 2018, has taken up his new role with immediate effect. It was confirmed that Bennett will remain the rust's lead manager. 

Allianz Global Investors
Allianz Global Investors has hired BlackRock's former head of emerging market debt (EMD) sustainable investing Giulia Pellegrini as senior portfolio manager within its EMD team.

As well as assisting in managing a number of funds, Pellegrini will help to enhance Allianz GI's existing ESG and SRI EMD capabilities, the firm said. She will also oversee country-specific research. Pellegrini had helped to launch four sustainable EMD funds during her four years at BlackRock, which she joined from JP Morgan.
