French asset manager Groupama AM has registered on the Spanish Market Securities Commission (CNMV) three new thematic funds belonging to its sicav G Fund.
The fund World (R)evolutions is a global multi-thematic equity fund with a portfolio of 30-60 stocks. Managed by Philippe Vialle, the fund seeks to invest in leading companies that generate value and have high growth prospects, classified in three separate themes: evolution, disruption, and revolution.
The evolution theme will include firms of any sector provided they stand out because of their ability to adapt to changing times by renewing their existing products, services, strategies, processes and even their way to interact with clients.
The disruptive group will be made up by companies, mostly from the technological sector, able to transform the market.
The revolution theme will include those innovative businesses either capable to respond to new challenges and social issues or that create new markets themselves. These will be normally companies from the health sector.
The second fund registered on the Spanish regulator is the Global Convertible Bonds, a strategy investing in convertible bonds across the globe that is managed in a flexible and opportunistic manner, said the firm in a note.
The Hybrid Corporate Bonds fund will invest in hybrid corporate bonds from investment grade OCDE issuers. This fund is managed by Guillaume Lacroix, who was specifically hired by Groupama AM in 2018 to manage the strategy.
