Citi bolsters private banking team in Spain

Citi has appointed César Martín as a senior banker to the firm's private banking business in Spain.  With around 25 years' experience in private banking, Martín joins Citi from Credit Suisse Spain, where he had worked responsible for high net worth individuals (HNWI) for the past 10 years.  Prior to his time at Credit Suisse, Martín had worked at Merril Lynch during eight years, and at UBS Spain for the same duration, being part at this lattest company of the Key Clients team.  The appointment is part of the firm's commitments to boost its private banking business in Spain.
