Kames Capital has strengthened its UK wholesale distribution team with the appointment of Alex Beck as business development manager.
Based in the firm's London office, Beck will cover accounts in the South East of England, spanning the company's client base of wealth managers, financial advisers, fund-of-funds, family offices, fund platforms and banks.
Reporting into Mark Savage, head of sales at Kames Capital, Beck joins the firm from Oxford Capital, where he was a senior manager, promoting the firm's Enterprise Investment Scheme to IFAs, DFMs and family offices in London and across the South of England. Prior to this, he was a business development manager at RAM Capital, focused on the distribution of tax-efficient funds. Before, he also held sales roles at Columbia Threadneedle and BNY Mellon.
Mark Savage said: "Alex brings great knowledge and experience to Kames and we are confident that the skills he brings to the team will allow us to grow our extensive client base."
