Banco Alcalá poaches MoraBanc's fund selector to advisory team in Barcelona

Banco Alcalá, the private banking-focused entity of the Andorran group Crèdit Andorrà Financial Group, has appointed Gorka Apodaca as investment advisor to the firm's office in Barcelona. 

Apodaca joins Banco Alcalá from MoraBanc Asset Management, where he spent nine years, holding among other positions that of fund selector and portfolio manager. Prior to entering the Andorran Group, Apodaca worked for the financial consultancy and audit department of Grant Thorton, where he worked for two years. He started his financial career as an outsourcing consultant at ACS, based between France and Spain (Barcelona). 

Banco Alcalá is a financial entity specialised in private banking, that offers global asset management services to private and institutional clients. It currently has €2.2bn in assets under management and offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.
