SGSS appoints Italy country head and CEO

Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has appointed Roberto Pecora as chief executive officer (CEO) and country head for Italy.  Pecora, who will report to SGSS's management board, will work alongside David Abitbol, president of the board and head of SGSS, and with Alessandro Gumier, head of SGSS global banking and investor solutions in Italy.  Milan-based, Pecora is succeeding Frédéric Barroyer, who was recently appointed head of group retirement and employee savings at Societe Generale Insurance.  Pecora brings some 20 years' experience in the industry having worked at comp...
