The Singularity Group (TSG), the independent Swiss research specialist and investment advisor has expanded its team with the appointment of Gregory Hung as chief investment officer (CIO) for the future investment and growth strategy. Katharina Böhringer strengthened the team as chief communications officer (CCO) in the area of communication and marketing.
Hung comes from Swisscanto Invest, where he was most recently responsible for hedge fund and alternative risk premia (ARP) solutions as senior portfolio manager and deputy head alternative investments in the area of liquid alternatives. Before that, he worked at UBS Global Asset Management as a hedge fund analyst and portfolio manager.
His areas of responsibility include continuous optimisation of the methodology and identification of the titles that TSG includes in the Nasdaq Singularity Index, as well as tailored, individual advice to customers. He will also develop new concepts and investment strategies for applied innovation - especially outside of the technology sector.
Before joining The Singularity Group, Böhringer was head of Marketing at fintech startup Advanon and set up the content creation and PR department of the premium sportswear brand KJUS. The communications expert focuses on digital marketing and content strategies, content creation, campaigns, public relations, journalism and copywriting. Since 2002 she has worked, among other things, as a journalist for various media such as the Frankfurter Rundschau and sueddeutsche.de, managed international campaigns and was responsible for international client budgets in the health sector as a PR consultant.
