Guernsey Finance is the international promotional agency for Guernsey's finance industry, owned and funded partly by Guernsey's government and partly by the local finance industry.
Applications are being welcome from both on and off-island as the promotional agency says the salary for this high-profile role will be competitive.
Guernsey Finance Chairman Lyndon Trott is heading the recruitment process, with applications to be submitted by 5pm on Friday 24 January. Interviews will take place in Guernsey on Thursday 13 February 2020.
The Board of Guernsey Finance is looking for a new chief executive to lead the current team across its offices in Guernsey and Shanghai, to strengthen its presence in key markets including London, North America, the Middle East and the Far East, and to perform an "ambassadorial" role working with the City of London and CityUK.
The successful candidate will have promotional and marketing experience plus a broad knowledge and overview of the finance industry. Specific experience in the sectors in which Guernsey excels would be helpful.
The agency promotes Guernsey's offering as an international finance centre all over the world, particularly in its core industry sectors of investment funds, insurance, banking and private wealth services.
