BNP Paribas Securities Services has promoted head of Continental Europe Alessandro Gioffreda to head of Territory Management expanding its operations' scope.
In his new role, Gioffreda will be responsible for leading the development of the company in all countries where it operates.
The company has also appointed Álvaro Camuñas, current global head of sales and relationship management, as head of client development. In his new role, Camuñas will take responsiblity for managing and expanding the firm's existing relationship with clients.
The two appointments, to be made effective on 1 of April 2020, will report directly to Patrick Colle, CEO of BNP Paribas Securities Services.
The company also appointed recently José Placido as general director of BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) Americas, to take effect from 1 of June 2020. Placido holds currently the double role of global head of client development for the firm's Securities Services business and global head of financial institutions coverage.
