Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate (Warburg-HIH Invest) has expanded its institutional business as part of its growth course. Thorsten Aberle, Christian Claßen and Mike Elsner have joined the Capital Management team to manage savings banks, regional banks, insurer and pension fund clients.
"We have taken on new personnel to continue our successful growth course on a sustained basis and provide our clients with the same high level of service they are used to," said Carsten Demmler, head of Capital Management at Warburg-HIH Invest.
Mike Elsner has been in charge of Warburg-HIH Invest Sparkassen and regional banks in the North Region since 1 January 2020. Previously, Elsner was the contact person responsible for around 60 savings banks in his seven years as sales director Region North of Deka Immobilien.
Christian Claßen has been in charge of insurance, pension funds and pension funds for Warburg-HIH Invest since 1 November 2019. He previously worked as director Institutional Sales at Hamburg Trust and as head of Real Estate at the NASDAQ-listed consulting firm Willis Towers Watson in Frankfurt am Main. At both companies, Claßen was responsible for the acquisition of insurance companies, pension funds, pension funds and real estate investment companies.
Thorsten Aberle has been the contact person for savings banks and regional banks in the South region at Warburg-HIH Invest since 1 September 2019. He previously worked as a bank department director at Norddeutsche Landesbank and HSH Nordbank. There he was responsible, among other things, for relationship management and investor support as well as new customer acquisition. Aberle began his professional career at Sparkasse Schwarzwald-Baar.
