Bank Julius Baer has appointed Emmanuel Debons as head French-speaking Switzerland, effective 1 January 2020. As part of the announced regional realignment, Debons is responsible for Julius Baer's private banking clients business in French-speaking Switzerland and the respective branches in Geneva, Lausanne, Sion, Crans Montana, and Verbier. French-speaking Switzerland is of great importance to Julius Baer as a business base, since it currently employs over 500 employees in Western Switzerland, including the domestic market.
