BNP Paribas REIM Italy SGR, the real estate investment management business of BNP Paribas in Italy, has appointed Vincenzo Nocerino as its new chief investment officer (CIO).
Nocerino, who will report directly to Dominique Jones, the firm's general and managing director, will be responsible for coordinating the area of acquisitions and asset management. He will also be in charge of leading the business operations and development of the Italian manager across Europe.
BNP Paribas REIM Italy SGR's new CIO takes on his new role after having worked for three years as head of transactions for UBS Real Estate and Private Markets. Prior to that, he was head of acquisitions at AXA Investment Management Real Asset after having worked as head of transactions at Schroders Property Investment Management. He started his career at BNL Fondi Immobiliari SGR in 2004.
