Niels Bodenheim has been appointed as head of Alternative Credit at NN Investment Partners as of 13 January 2020, where he will be responsible for overseeing a platform covering corporate debt, residential mortgages, commercial real estate lending, ECA/government loans, and infrastructure debt/project finance with AUM of €40bn.
Bodenheim (pictured) will report to Valentijn van Nieuwenhuijzen, CIO. He joins from bfinance, where he was senior diretor - Private Markets, a role including responsibility for private debt, and overseeing credit research inot direct lending, real estate and infrastructure. Previously, he spent 14 years at GE in various roles at GE Capital, Mubadala GE Capital, GE Corporate Finance Bank and GE Healthcare Financial Services.
