The Women in Asset Servicing group is holding its next event on 5 March 2020 at Schroders London Wall offices in the City of London, which will feature speakers outlining career moments in the run-up to International Women's Day taking place later that week.

The event follows others that have taken place through 2019, as members seek to develop networking and support for those in the asset servicing branch of the financial industry.

The 5 March event is open to both men and women. Among the WiAS organisers in attendence will be Kate Webber (pictured), lead product manager - Fund Services at Northern Trust, who was a judge for InvestmentEurope's Women In Investment Awards Italy 2019, which took place in early October 2019. That event will be repeated in 2020, along with a similar event in Madrid (details to be confirmed).

Meantime, InvestmentEurope is also supporting the Women in Investment Festival, in partnership with sister publications Professional Pensions, Professional Adviser, Retirement Planner and Investment Week. This is a one-day festival that seeks to serve as a beacon for the benefits of a truly diverse industry for all, whatever gender, colour or creed. Although it will naturally talk to and celebrate the achievements of women, we also believe we should showcase the role men play in the equation, and highlight examples of best practice where their support is helping to drive change for true gender equality.

It takes place on Tuesday 3 March 2020 at the Brewery in London, UK and we are currently running a discounted super early bird ticket price. Head over to the website here for full details.
