Julius Baer Deutschland AG has appointed Thomas Falk as a new board member.
Falk takes over the duties of Ursula Egli, who joined Julius Baer in Germany in 2015. She will continue to serve as a member of the Bank's Supervisory Board.
Egli will step down as a member of the Management Board of Bank Julius Baer Deutschland AG in order to take on new responsibilities as chief risk officer Switzerland and EMEA of Bank Julius Baer Bank. Falk, who, like his predecessor as chief operating, Financial and Risk Officer (COO / CFO / CRO), will be responsible for all of the Bank's successor areas, headquartered in Frankfurt.
Falk has been a member of the board at Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG in Frankfurt as CRO with responsibility for risk controlling, back office credit risk management, compliance and money laundering.
He also spent several years with JP before serving as a board member for Citigroup. Morgan, where he was, among other things, vice president and head of Institutional Fund Controlling, Tax and Risk Controlling at the Custodian.
Egli will continue to use her extensive know-how for Bank Julius Baer Deutschland AG in the future. In addition to her new role within Bank Julius Baer, she will continue to serve as a member of the supervisory board of the bank in Frankfurt.
