Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM) has named two new managers Nicolas Leprince (picture above) and Julien Tisserand for EDR Fund Bond Allocation.
These bond specialists will be part of the Asset Allocation and Sovereign Debt investment team run by Michaël Nizard and will be in charge of managing the EdR Fund Bond Allocation.
Leprince and Tisserand are both seasoned bond market specialists with complementary experience from working in major financial groups.
They combine fundamental and quantitative investment expertise over a broad spectrum of bond sub-asset classes from sovereign debt via credit markets to emerging country debt. Both have rolled out active investment strategies based on highly-structured processes. Their past experience and complementarity will be a perfect fit for Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management's bond platform and will help enrich EdR Fund Bond Allocation's investment process even if it will remain fundamentally unchanged.
As active members of the Fixed Income Committee, they will be in charge of the fund's bond allocation process, helping develop active investment in this flagship fund, which reflects our strong bond market convictions. The fund has close to €3bn under management and has for several years been a big success with various kinds of investor.
Leprince will joing the group on 9 December 2019. He had been in charge since 2016 of the fixed income team at BNP Paribas Cardif in France. His expertise covers all bond markets and especially sovereign debt, high yield and emerging debt. He has also been successful in managing total return sleeves. Between 2004 and 2016, Nicolas held various positions at BNP Paribas Cardif, notably in the bond investment teams.
