BME, the Spanish stock markets and financial systems operator, has appointed Enrique Castellanos as head of training of its educational centre (Instituto BME) following departure of its former chief.
Beatriz Alejandro, ex-head of BME's educational centre, has left her position at the centre to pursue new career projects.
Castellanos, who has been working for BME for 18 years, is currently the academic head of the prestigious mFIA. Additionally, he is the author of the books "Opciones y Futuros de Renta Variable: Manual práctico" and "Lecturas mFIA". He has also published numerous articles for universities and the media.
BME said in a statement that it would like to thank Beatriz Alejandro for her dedication and hard-work during her 25' years tenure at the group, "during which Instituto BME had leveraged itself as one of the most relevant training and educational centres in the areas of finance and markets."
BME's training centre welcomes more than 6,500 students every year.
