Institutional investors welcome Repsol's commitment to align climate lobbying with Paris Agreement goals

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) and the Church of England Pensions Board have welcomed Spain-based global energy company Repsol's commitment to align its lobbying activity with the goals of the Paris Agreement.   Repsol's announcement is the outcome of extensive engagement with investors as part of the Climate Action 100+ plan, which brings together more than 370 investors globally, (collectively managing over $35trn) in seeking to ensure some of the world's largest companies take necessary action on climate change.
