Barcelona-based financial advisory firm DiverInvest has announced the creation of a new tax advisory area and the appointment of three new professionals to its team in a move aimed at expanding the services offering to its clients.
The firm has appointed Malu González as a tax adviser; Javier de Andrésas a wealth adviser; and Joan Lagen to the financial assets team.
Malu González, who will be leading the new business unit, brings 15 years' experience to the Catalan adviser, gathered across different companies including Buscà, Sotelo and Associates, and Ribalta Lawyers.
Javier de Andrés joins DiverInvest to provide financial advisory on the clients' investment portfolios. During his career, he has gained specific knowledge and experience in private banking having worked responsible for the private banking division of Deutsche Bank.
Joan Lagen has joined the firm's financial assets team to be in charge of evaluation and follow-up. He will also be responsible for the analysis and the corresponding comparison of financial products already present in the portfolios against new potential investment opportunities.
Lagen previously worked at companies including Cobega, KPMG and Banco Mediolanum.
