Julius Baer poaches Credit Suisse sustainable investment head

Julius Baer has announced the appointment of Yvonne Suter as new head of Corporate Sustainability and Responsible Investment (CSRI) as of 4 November 2019.

With the appointment of the seasoned senior manager, the sustainability expertise will be further strengthened within the Group.

In this role, Suteris responsible for further developing the CSRI strategy of the Group across all business areas. She reports to both the CEO Office and the Bank's Sustainability Board.   

Suter joins Julius Baer from Credit Suisse, where she was head of Sustainable Investment for the 5 past years and had held several leadership and management roles since 2005. 

Philipp Rickenbacher, CEO Julius Baer said: "Suter's comprehensive knowledge and network, as well as her many years of experience, will further developing Julius Baer in the areas of sustainability and responsible investment and expanding the Bank's activities. This will further enable us to meet the ever-increasing demands in all aspects of sustainability: economic, social, as well as environmental."
