Michael Krume, deputy chairman of the Executive Board of Merck Finck Privatbankiers AG, will be leaving the Executive Board of the Privatbank by the end of the year.
From 2004 until 2019, Krume was a member of the Executive Board of Merck Finck, both as a general partner and since September 2016 as deputy chairman of the Executive Board of Merck Finck Privatbankiers AG. D
In addition to his activities as a member of the Executive Board, Krume has held various positions in the Munich financial center and has held a variety of mandates, including as chairman of the Investment Committee of Universal Investment, chairman of the Exchange Council of the Munich Stock Exchange and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Merck Finck Foundation.
Krume's position will not be replaced. With his resignation, the board is reduced from three members to two: Matthias Schellenberg (chairman) for the market and Olivier Kuetgens for the back office.
