Mirabaud AM's Narula on multi-thematic & ESG approach to global equities at Thematic Forum Milan 2019

Mirabaud Asset Management head of global equities Anu Narula will outline his team's multi-thematic approach to global equities at InvestmentEurope's Thematic Forum Milan 2019.

This multi-thematic approach, applied across all industry sectors, identifies companies that are positioned, or are positioning themselves to capitalise on transformative forces, such as technology, or the millennial consumer, to create strong demand and deliver revenue that is growing faster than GDP, according to Narula.

The fund manager will be also addressing his ESG approach to investing, which is directly embedded within the investment process of  the Equities Global Focus fund (managed by him) and enacted through both exclusion filtering and positive screening, can and will contribute to alpha creation.

Narula is the lead portfolio manager of both the Global Equity High Income and Equities Global Focus strategies at Mirabaud. The two funds aim at answering the market's appetite for conviction based global equity thematic ESG investment solutions.

The equity specialist has been working for the portfolio management industry since 2001. He joined Mirabaud Asset Management in June 2013 from AXA Framlington, where he was lead-manager of the Global Equity High Income fund and co-manager of the Global Opportunities fund.

Previously, he had held a global equity portfolio manager role within Cadwyn Global' s Macro hedge fund since 2005. He started his career at Morley Fund Management in the global equity team.
