Bankia Asset Management, the asset management division of the Spanish bank Bankia, has appointed Rafael Saiz Romero as chief financial officer.
Saiz Romero has been working for the Spanish Group for 25 years, holding during the last six the role of investments director linked to discretionary portfolio and sicavs' management. Prior to that, he was responsible for structured and private equity products.
Bankia AM's new chief financial officer also worked at former Caja Madrid, responsible for its equity capital markets unit.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he started his career in 1994 working for the Spanish manager Renta 4, where he was an equity financial analyst.
