Crèdit Andorrà's Banco Alcalá appoints External Networks' senior banker

Crèdit Andorrà Financial Group's Banco Alcalá has appointed Daniel Alonso to its Madrid office with the aim to bolster the firm's business development of External Networks.

Alonso brings over 15 years' experience in the financial sector, having held senior sales-related roles at national and global entities of private banking, personal banking, retail and institutional banking.

He joins Banca Alcalá from CNP Partners, where he was responsible for the firm's institutional sales department. Previously, he had been sales and business development director at Alpha Plus Gestora during seven years. Previous companies where he worked include Selinca, Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild, Lloyds TSB Bank and Banif.

Banco Alcalá is a Spanish firm specialised in private banking, with a focus on global asset management for private and institutional clients. It currently has €2.12bn in assets under management. The bank's agents project, joined now by Alonso, started in 2015 with the appointment of Álvaro Ximénez de Embún as director of External Networks.
