HSBC Private Banking has announced a partnership with Station F to promote diversity and entrepreneurship, promoting its commitment to on-boarding and championing female entrepreneurs.
Station F, based in Paris, claims to be the world's biggest start-up campus, offering over 30 start-up programs and housing over 1,000 start-up companies. It works with 40 venture capital funds to support its affiliated businesses and offers resources and knowledge to foster firms which operate under its banner.
Station F currently houses numerous fintech offerings, with Sarwa being promoted as one of its largest; the firm offers online financial advisory and investment services, targeting the mass affluent market with its DIY-influenced model, smart balancing portfolios, auto-depositing and tax optimisation offerings, supported by human advisory services.
Similarly, Station F raised over $4.9m for Zelros, which offers a digital solution for insurance firms, using AI to understand the profile of customer and recommend the best products, the best arguments and prices.
HSBC said it "takes active steps to encourage people from a broad range of backgrounds to apply for jobs at HSBC."
