EFPA adds two members in expansion plans push

EFPA Spain, the Spanish division of the European Financial Planning Association, has added two new members as part of the international reshuffle the association is carrying out following the appointment of Santiago Satrústegui as its president.
Adela Martín, the current private banking director of Banco Santander Spain, and Carlos García, founding partner of C2 Asesores Patrimoniales as well as president of the Spanish Association of Financial Advisory firms ASEAFI have joined the association.
They will be responsible for supporting the organisation's goals, which currently focus on expanding its membership list and associate partners as well as on widening the services offer for its members.
Before being Santander's private banking director, Martín held the same post at the Spanish lender Bankinter.
By his part García brings to the association broad experience in the fields of private banking, asset management, and personal banking obtained across entities including Caja Pamplona, Banco Urquijo and Banco Santander.
EFPA Spain has more than 35,000 certified members in Spain, a figure representing a 20% increase year-on-year.
