Quinto will be reporting to Michel Tulle, senior director, southern Europe and Benelux, and will work close to the firm's European and global management team.

The new Italy country head of Franklin Templeton joined the asset management firm in May 2014, responsible for their strategic business development and the distribution of retail products in Italy. Most recently he was co-branch manager and retail business director for the Group in the country. Prior to his time at Franklin Templeton, he worked at various asset management firms including Eptafund SGR, Sanpaolo Asset Management SGR, Fidelity International Limited and Russell Investments.

Michel Tulle said: "Quinto has played a key role in the construction of the firm's business in Italy since he joined five years ago, thanks to his deep knowledge of the Italian asset management industry as well as to his broad experience in the sector. I cannot wait to work close to him on the company's business expansion across the Italian market."
