Spanish private banking firm Orienta Capital has expanded its fund of funds range with the launch of a new vehicle investing in equities globally.
Acurio European Managers, which has been registered on the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) but will not be available for distribution until October, will allocate at least half of its exposure to other investment houses from Europe.
At least 50% of the fund's portfolio will be invested in other asset managers, provided they meet certain criteria like independence of the manager, high alignment of interests with investors, a stable team, and long-term value generation. The remaining part of the fund's portfolio will be invested direct or indirectly in private and public fixed income assets (including deposits).
Acurio European Managers will be available in two classes; the institutional one, aimed at clients of discretionary portfolios, independent advisory and institutional investors, and the retail one.
The new strategy raises to four Orienta Capital's fund of funds range, made up of Compás Equilibrado, Noray Moderado, and Bitácora Renta Variable.
