Peter Frick has moved from Loomis Sayles to Natixis Investment Managers within the Natixis universe, effective August 2019. He is now senior market strategist for Zurich, responsible for the development of the institutional business in German-speaking Switzerland.
His appointment is a further step towards expanding the sales force of Natixis Investment Managers in Zurich following the recruitment of Robert Pavic Urbas, sales director for German-speaking Switzerland.
In his new role, he reports to Sebastian Roemer, head of Central & Eastern Europe, Natixis Investment Managers.
Frick was vice president of Loomis Sayles, an American subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers. Overall, he has worked for the Natixis Group for over fifteen years. He began his career in the investment industry in 1986. In 2004 he joined Loomis Sayles as global bond product manager. In 2012 he became portfolio manager.
Prior to Loomis Sayles, he worked at Fleet Boston Financial as director of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Risk Management, with a focus on emerging markets. Previously, Frick was assistant vice president, Monetary and Interest Rate Risk Management, Banque Bruxelles Lambert, Paris, France, and Foreign Exchange and Interest Risk Management. During his career, he also worked within UBS's Capital Markets department in Zurich and New York.
