Frankfurt Roundtable 2019 speakers revealed

Investment Europe is pleased to announce speakers that are taking part in the upcoming Frankfurt Roundtable 2019. To be held on the 16 October at the Steigenberger Frankfuter Hof, the rountable will be treating an audience of around 20 fund selectors from Germany.
Mark Krombas, lead portfolio manager of the GCC equity team at the Qatar Insurance, Ritchie Oriol, investment strategist at Lord Abbett and David Heiny, strategy specialist at Artisan Partners will be taking part.
Krombas joined joined QIC in 2012 to lead the GCC equity team. Prior to joining QIC he spent six years at Societe Generale Asset management (which became GLG Partners) where he launched and managed six different MENA and GCC funds. He has been a pioneer investor in the GCC equity markets over the past fourteen years as they have gradually opened up to foreign investors. He is credited with an outstanding track record over his long tenure investing in the GCC Markets.
Oriol is responsible for providing the portfolio management teams with investment insight and relevant market information for its fixed income strategies. In this role, he also communicates with institutional clients and prospects regarding current portfolio positioning and the firm's market outlook. Additionally Oriol collaborates with the consultant relations, product development, and relationship management teams as appropriate. He is based in Lord Abbett's London office.
He joined Lord Abbett in 2018. Before joining the firm, he was a member of the corporate credit team at London-based alternative multi-strategy manager CQS where he was responsible for developing customised portfolio solutions and communicating investment strategy to institutional investors. Oriol has also held senior roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Neuberger Berman and Funding Circle.
Heiny is a managing director of Artisan Partners and a strategy specialist for the firm's Developing World team. He was previously responsible for a range of functions including defined contribution practice leadership and oversight of marketing and communications at the firm. Prior to joining Artisan Partners in August 2000, he was a commercial banking analyst with First Chicago (presently JPMorgan Chase), where he analysed mid- and large-market debt transactions.
