UK asset management firm Jupiter AM has appointed Félix de Gregorio as Iberia sales director in a move aimed at boosting the firm's business growth in the region.
De Gregorio will be succeeding Carlos Capela - who leaves the firm after three years of service -, and will be responsible for supporting the firm's relationship with clients of Spain and Portugal. He will be reporting Jupiter AM's Iberia general director Gonzalo Azcoitia.
The new Iberia sales director joins the firm's office in Madrid from JP Morgan, where he worked for 14 years, holding most recently the role of executive director of shares sale.
As a whole, he has over 20 years' financial experience, having held mostly sales roles at international firms with physical representation in Spain. BNP Paribas and Credit Lyonnais are among the financial entities he had previously worked for.
Jupiter AM started operating in Spain and Portugal in October 2014 but was not until 2016 that the firm opened an office in Madrid.
