Swiss Life Germany strengthens management board

Swiss Life Germany has added two new members to the managment board, effective 1 January 2020.

Stefan Holzer will be appointed head of Insurance Production and member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Life Germany on January 1, 2020. He succeeds Amar Banerjee, who will leave the company at the end of the year. Holzer has been responsible for various insurance processes at Swiss Life since 2006 and is currently head of Service Center Private Customers.

Furthermore, Dirk von der Crone also joins the executive board as head of HR, Services & Operations Financial Sales. Holzer and von der Crone will report to CEO Jörg Arnold.

Holzer started his career at Swiss Life in 2006 as an investment controller and continuously took on specialist and disciplinary responsibilities, including as head of Controlling & Reporting, division manager for Integrated Product and Sales Management and as division manager of the Specialist Coordination. Holzer has been responsible for insurance processes such as underwriting, inventory management and claims management since 2017 as head of Service Center Private Customers.

Von der Crone initially worked as a lawyer before joining the Swiss Life Group in 2005. Since 2009, as labour director, he has been responsible for all personnel-related topics of the company. At the beginning of 2019, Crone was already appointed to the extended management of Swiss Life Germany.
