Spanish funds' AUM grow by €1.77bn in July - VDOS report

Spanish funds' assets under management grew by €1.77bn (up by 0.65%) in July amounting to €273.56bn, according to VDOS monthly data.

CaixaBank tops the list with €45.44bn in assets under management as of the end of July, followed by BBVA with €40.96bn.

Some €417m of net new money was poured into Spanish funds during the same period. From this amount, €263m came from banking institutions, followed by the €202m in net subscriptions coming from insurance groups.

Banca March was the financial entity registering the highest net subscriptions receiving €120m in July. Mutua Madrileña and Banco Santander ranked second and third, with €115m and €114m of net new money during the month. Conversely, the Spanish business of the insurer Allianz suffered net redemptions of €158m during the same period.
