PGIM has hired former Prudential Financial portfolio manager Zulfiqar Ali as a senior portfolio manager within its fixed income unit's emerging markets team.
Reporting to co-heads of emerging markets David Bessey and Cathy Hepworth, Ali will be based in PGIM's Newark office and will specialise in Latin American hard currency sovereign and quasi-sovereign bond positions across emerging markets strategies.

Holmes spent his entire career at Brooks Macdonald, having started as a trainee investment management 22 years ago and finishing as managing director; he led the investment management business between 2008 and 2018.

Allianz Partners has announced a new appointment for its international health brand, Allianz Care. Diane Babson will take up the role of chief financial officer for Allianz Care, following the retirement of finance director and deputy chief executive officer, Frank Mee.
Babson joined Allianz Partners in 2015 as chief financial officer for the US and Americas Region, bringing more than 15 years' experience across multiple financial disciplines. She holds a degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington.
