Adrian Brass, fund manager at Majedie Asset Management will outline opportunities in the US stock market when he speaks at the upcoming Helsinki Roundtable 2019, taking place in the Finnish capital at the Hotel Kämp on the morning of 24 September.
Noting the breadth and depth of the US stock market, Brass will touch on the plethora of money-making opportunities regardless of the economic weather, albeit requiring an inquisitive mind into understanding the impact of sector weightings on headline market valuations, and the ever present question over long-term margin profiles given the quarterly reporting requirements.
Bringing favourite themes and stock ideas from the Majedie US Equity fund, where he is lead manager, Brass will lean on his more than two decades of experience of the asset class.
With some 24 years' experience in international equity markets, Brass is also co-manager of the Majedie Global Equity and Global Focus funds. Previopusly, he was a fund manager at Fidelity, managing US equity funds, including the America Fund. He has also managed a global consumer sector fund and before that various global equity funds at Investec Asset Management. He entered the industry when he joined Schroders in 1995.
