Spanish exchange trading down 14% YoY to €40bn in July

The Spanish Exchange traded €40.87bn in equities in July, falling 13.7% year-on-year and also 24.5% down over the seven months to July, the Spanish stock exchange operator BME reported on Thursday. The number of trades in July was down 19.2% on June at €3.39m, and also 12.9% lower year-on-year.
