I am a firm believer that a collaborative effort is necessary to create an environment of mutual respect that will enable women to realize their full potential. Recently, Japan surpassed the United States with the percentage of women in the work force. Part of this success is due to companywide efforts to educate women about jobs that had not considered previously (in particular the construction sector), as well as offer courses to the male employees about how to treat women not only in the workplace, but also how to treat their wives, sisters, daughters at home (help with the chores and encourage them to move up the career ladder). In the famous words of Martin Luther King: 'And so as I leave you this evening I say, walk together children!'"

Taking place at the Palazzo Parigi, the Awards seek to recognise the achievements of women in the investment industry in Italy across multiple areas, including analysis, fund management and fund selection; however, they also seek to recognise some of the particular challenges faced by women in returning to the workforce, and those seeking to provide mentorship to others.
