Zedra has announced the appointment of Soledad Garcia as a director of their London operations.

With nearly 15 years of experience in the industry, Garcia has worked previously in Singapore, Spain and across the onshore and offshore UK sectors where she has a proven ability to build networks, generate and maintain client business.

Broad Street
Broad Street Investment Management, a subsidiary of Broad Street Asset Management, has appointed Andrew Gibbs as its chief investment officer. 

With over 30 years' investment management experience, focused on Asian, Emerging and Developed Market equities for major global institutions in Asia, America and Europe, Gibbs joins from Henderson Rowe where he was a senior Portfolio Manager and a member of their Investment Committee.

Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank announced the appointment of Roberto Coletta as market head of Wealth Management Italy. In his new role, Coletta will report directly to Roberto Parazzini, who has led the Italian team on an interim basis in recent months since his recent promotion to Head of Wealth Management Southern & Western Europe.

Coletta will be responsible for the bank's wealthy, high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) Italian clients, as well as for the products and services platform of Wealth Management in Italy. As head of the business, Coletta will also report to Flavio Valeri, Chief Country Officer Italy for Deutsche Bank.

Cross River
Cross River Bank, a provider of banking services for technology companies, has appointed Melissa Ballenger as its executive Vice President and chief financial officer, effective immediately. 

Ballenger is a seasoned global finance executive who joins Cross River from State Street Corporation, where she served as executive Vice President, chief financial officer of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). 

AAM Advisory
AAM Advisory, the Singapore-based financial advice business which is part of Quilter, has bolstered its team with two new hires. David MacDonald will take on the newly-created role of head of business development at AAM while Karen Tan joins as the head of business and adviser support.

MacDonald started his career in banking before moving on to lead teams of wealth managers within large financial services organisations in the UK. Karen was previously assistant director at International Financial Services (iFS) and brings 22 years of experience to her new role at AAM.

Carey Olsen
Carey Olsen Bermuda has promoted Gavin Woods of its corporate practice to the role of partner.

Woods, who joined the corporate team at Carey Olsen Bermuda at the beginning of this year, has nearly 10 years' experience in the Bermuda market, prior to which he practised in London and New York.

Carmignac
Carmignac has announced the appointment of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management's Kevin Thozet as portfolio advisor within the strategic investment committee.

Thozet will be based in Paris working on the strategic investment committee alongside Sandra Crowl and Gergely Majoros, and reporting to managing director Didier Saint-Georges. 

Hawksford
Hawksford has appointed Heather Wilkins as director in its Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team.

In her new role,  Wilkins will primarily focus on the Group Enterprise Risk Management framework, which includes a key role in the operation of a number of jurisdictional risk committees, as well as the management of the Group's policy and procedure framework.
