Deutsche Bank names head of wealth management in Italy

Deutsche Bank has appointed Roberto Coletta as market head of its wealth management division stepping forward in its growth strategy for the division.

Coletta will be reporting to Roberto Parazzini, who has led the Italian team on an interim basis since he was appointed head of wealth management southern & western Europe recently. He will also report to Flavio Valeri, the bank's Italy chief country officer.

As the new market head of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management in Italy, Coletta will be responsible for the bank's high net worth (HNWI) and ultra-high net worth (UHNWI) clients in the country, as well as for the products and services platform of the division.

He joins the firm from Credit Suisse, where he led the UHNWI unit for six years in Italy. Prior to that, he worked at BNL-BNP Paribas Private Banking, where he was responsible for the private banking activities of the key clients team. Former companies include Banca di Roma, Gruppo Banca CR Firenze, and Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna.

Italy represents the second-largest European market for Deutsche Bank Group after Germany. The firm's wealth management unit has seven offices and 27 client advisers in the southern European country.
