Japan small cap manager appointed by SMTAM

Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management (SMTAM) has appointed Kenji Soejima as portfolio manager on its $900m (€791m) Japan Small Cap Strategy, working across funds as part of a team led by chief portfolio manager Satoshi Marui. This includes the Ucits funds Japan Small Cap and Japan Small Cap II. The latter was launched in April 2018, with a focus on more liquid stocks and offering lower fees.
