The Board of Directors of the Geneva Management Group (GMG), a global provider of financial solutions to institutional and private clients, has appointed René Sieber.
Sieber, co-founder and managing director of Dynagest SA, a Geneva-based asset management firm specialising in bond management and quantitative risk management. Among other things, he was responsible for the quantitative management of portfolio insurance as well as the monitoring of bond management and research.
He has taught since 1988 as a lecturer at the University of Geneva at the Faculty of Economics and Management (GSEM). Last February, she was appointed full professor of Finance. Now he is taking on the co-management of the new DAS continuing education diploma in asset management. Since 1991, he has also been teaching bond management at the Swiss Training Center for Investment Professionals (AZEK).
Since 2002, he has been director of Ethos Services SA, the operational unit of the Ethos Foundation for Sustainable Development. He has acquired a deep knowledge of the reality and challenges of socially responsible investment.
