EdRAM portfolio managers join Carmignac

French asset manager Carmignac has appointed Eliezer Ben Zimra (picture above) and Guillaume Rigeade as co-fund managers of the multi-asset fund, Carmignac Portfolio Capital Plus, which has approximately €1bn in Assets Under Management (as of 14 June 2019).
Based in Paris, both will join Carmignac on the 9 July 2019, reporting to Rose Ouahba, head of Fixed Income.
Both Zimraand Rigeadejoin from Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM), where they were portfolio managers in the fixed income team. They have each 15 years of experience in fund management and share a flexible allocation approach to investing in bond markets.
Zimrajoined the Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2011 as portfolio manager/analyst specialized on developed country sovereign debts. He started his career at OneSeven Capital Management, as a fixed income derivatives trader (2008). In 2010 he joined Capstone Investment Advisors as assistant fixed income portfolio manager, further to which he joined the Research and Strategy division of Amundi.

Rigeade (picture right) is a fixed income specialist and has more than 20 years of experience. He started his career at Sinopia AM in 1999 as assistant portfolio manager, was appointed fixed income portfolio manager from 2000 until 2004, when he became deputy head of Fixed Income Management. From 2007 to 2009, he joined Société Générale AM as Senior International Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange portfolio manager. From 2009 onwards, Guillaume joined Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management as Global Macro fund manager until 2012, then being appointed Fixed Income fund manager in 2013.
